Art: Jalapeno Pepper
A vector pepper drawn in Illustrator CS3
Posted on: 05-28-2008
I am trying to really push my knowledge limits with Illustrator CS3. The only reason I decided to use a pepper was because it has lots of different shading. It's not like a bottle where I can get Illustrator to fake it for me.
For this pepper, I used gradient meshes for the first time. Holy crap, you can do so much with them. I have no desire, nor the proper knowledge to try to explain what they are.
Anyways, no design concepts or explanations with this guy. This was purely a learning experience.
Be sure and click the image to get a larger view to see more detail.
