Furniture Emporium$entrytitle
Logo design for furniture dealer
Posted on: 04-23-2008

The terms of service were slightly odd for this client but we both won in the end. Furniture Emporium is a furniture dealer just south of Ft. Smith and they were looking for a new logo that showed their professional side.

They, like a lot of local businesses here, used a generic type logo with no symbolism, repetition, or any other quality that might help brand them.

When I got the opportunity to help this business find their identity, I could not pass it up.

The focal point is the rounded rectangle featuring the letters "F" and "E" which is set in a very popular font. The actual lettering is set in a thin, clear, unmistakable form to the right of the brand.

The colors were just simple, contemporary mixtures that are soft on the eyes and match the color schemes of many current furniture sets (reproduction to RGB did lighten them considerably).

This project went really fast and will be one for my portfolio for sure.
