Nathan has started football camp for this season. Broken Arrow has it's own league but it's not school-sponsored so most of the costs are out of our pockets, not theirs. Either way, it feels good to see the pigskin flying again.

I bought that Mac Mini server I've been wanting. We decided to wait a while before getting it so we could pay off a couple of bills instead. Good thing we did because they just released an update to the Mini so I'm bleeding edge right now! It's got OS X 10.6 Server installed. It's incredible. Right now, I've got file sharing, web, ftp, vpn, MySQL, remote management, but my newest and favorite feature I've got running right now is Air Video. This service allows me to stream my video library (over 350 movies!) to my iPhone. It's just awesome being able to do that. I also have the server set up to share our calendars and contacts between all of the computers/phones on the network so we get updates to everything going on in each others lives when we don't have time to do so ourselves.

I am still working on activating a few things, including DNS, because my ultimate goal is to host my own websites instead of paying for it!

My job is still great. I've settled in (and down) a little and I'm definitely feeling more confident in my abilities now that I've really gotten my hands dirty.

So, also a little update on our finances; we moved here with a mortgage, Heather's car payment, my car payment, Best Buy, CareCredit (medical credit card), and two student loans. As of today, we've paid off all of our debt with the exception of my car, Heather's student loans, and our house! We've been able to save money, pay off bills, and are still doing just fine. We are planning on making triple(+) payments on my car and should have it paid off in less than a year. Then we'll go after those student loans.
