Goodbye 240.
Note: To get the full effect, listen to this song while reading the post.

Ahh, the heartbreak of today. I immediately felt depressed. 9 years of my life was spent with her. For 7 of those years, I relied solely upon her. I was completely faithful to her until she started acting up and throwing little fits and not giving me a single clue as to what was wrong. So today, I had to give her up. Some might say it was wrong to sell her considering her condition but I wasn't going to just give her to someone. I mean, seriously.

Oh, sorry...I'm talking about my first car. Yes, that's right. Today was the day when my first true love finally left my hands forever. It was actually hard typing the word 'forever'. I look back at all me and my 1992 Nissan 240SX have shared and it blows my mind what I've accomplished while behind the wheel of that car. It got me thru my senior year and college, it got me to and from my first real job (which I also recently departed with), it's caused the Police to take upwards of $500 from me in moving violations of one form or another, including the 30 foot burnout I did in front of 6 policemen, which I did not see. Don't believe me? Ask my mom. She had to pay the ticket :)

I spent several thousand dollars in repairs, enhancements, redo's, and performance mods. It was broken into once, during which I was relieved me of $700 of audio equipment. I'm convinced she felt as violated as me.

Anyways, today Mason and his uncle came by and we loaded it up on a trailer and they left with it. As soon as they left my sight I thought "Oh my gosh. What have I done?" All those years of hard work and, no joke, love that I poured into that car and in the end, I never got finish it. Another dream hits the dust.

We had a great run together. 130,000 miles when we bought her and 202,000 when I parked her.

I'll miss you, little car.

Anyone have a couple hundred thousand bucks laying around you wanna throw my way?
