Farewell to Times Record
Today was a landmark in my life that will never be forgotten. Today was my last day as an employee of the Times Record newspaper in Fort Smith, AR.

It wasn't until I was saying my good-byes that I realized how many people I had really formed real friendships with. Going cube-to-cube and office-to-office reminiscing about all of the things we had seen and done together over the past 7 years, and realizing that my memories with almost all of those people have ended made it a pretty miserable day.

But there are a chosen few who I expect to continue friendships with. It would honestly break my heart of they disappeared out of my life.

I think I hid it well, but I had a really, really rough time saying goodbye to everyone. Mr. Kincy was sure to tell me that he was proud of me and thankful for all I had done and told me if I never needed anything from him to let him know. John Speck and Eddy Metz did the same.

I'm so thankful for the opportunities that Eddy, Leanna, and Carl gave me to grow not just within the company but for giving me challenges that inspired me to learn something new. Without that, I wouldn't have learned half of what I know now. I hope I wasn't too big of a pain!

I'll miss you all...MOST of you all :) Please keep in touch!

Whew, I'm glad it's over so I can get over my emotional shock and look forward to the great things God has for me and my family in Tulsa!

It's really hard to leave a job where you have a lot of friends plus like the job. You will do well with your new job!
