Another year has passed and my life goes on. I wonder if I've done anything noteworthy. Let's see...

Spiritually, this year was pretty impressive again. The high point was taking my family to the Dallas Temple in July. It's such an awesome place. Heather was released from her primary class so she'll get to spend more time learning, rather than teaching. I also adopted Nathan this year. We got his Social Security card in the mail today.

Professionally, I had the most profitable freelance year of my life. Thank you Rham for that. I really overworked myself there for a while. At the paper, things were progressing. Honestly, it wasn't fast enough and I finally put in my notice and took a job in Tulsa at Geek Rescue. Heather also put in her notice and took a job at Saint Francis. I start on January 11th and Heather begins a week later. This year also was the birth year of two OS X applications I released to the public. This release has been the source of the majority of the traffic that has been pushed to this site.

As for more details on this site, as I mentioned previously, this was the busiest year to date with over 2,300 visitors from over 75 countries. Only half of those originated in the US. My most popular pages were my software page, DFT article about Fibonacci sequence in music, DFT article about BSA and the Priesthood, and DFT article about enduring to the end.

As for my worldly bucket list, I got a Macbook Pro, 1TB Time Capsule, Magic Mouse, Apple Remote, WDTV Media Player, another 1TB drive to hold my media, a 42" Vizio HDTV, and a new audio system for my TV, among other things. Please don't rob me.

All-in-all, we've had a really good year. I'm still married, and still happy to be married. I love my children and wife, and I'm looking forward to the big changes that await us in Tulsa later this month.
