50 years + Movies + Apps
First and foremost, Heather's grandparents celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary a few days ago. We threw them a surprise party at their church. Heather made a great pictorial video and she also ordered a hardback book full of their photos from over the years. Everyone was like "Did you do the video?" and "Did you do the book?" and I had to keep telling them "Nope, that was my wife!". I think I'm starting to rub off on her!
Shelton gave a moving speech and an even more moving prayer. He prayed that just for that day, they could feel like kids again and feel what they did 50 years earlier
We've seen a couple movies lately. The Adjustment Bureau and Hop. The latter made me want to "hop" off a bridge. The Adjustment Bureau was pretty good but I expected better. It was much more of a love story than an action flick. Oh, and I saw Social Network last night. That movie was great. It really gives you a drive to come up with something new and big. No luck so far in that department.
I've been doing lots of ASOC lately. I've released new versions of HideSwitch with much greater functionality. I'm nearing completion of a complete ground-up rewrite of Workhorse. It's awesome and I can't wait to release it!
Nathan made the Principals Honor Roll again and we're going to a school assembly tomorrow to see him get his recognition award. We've so proud of how much he's excelled up here in T-Town. He signed up for all AP courses next year so that ought to be interesting!
