Abilities & Skills
These are the things that I love to do. It's in my blood. I once read that if I get a job I love, I'll never work a day in my life. Below I have listed my skills and abilities - all of which I love.
Graphic Design
This is my only talent in which I have been professionally trained. I attended college part-time during my junior and senior years of high school. I love being creative and I love hearing the positive reactions to art that I have created.

This was actually the first computer-related skill I was involved in. My first website was created on Geocities in the late 1990's for the rock band, Tool. It grew to be one of the top 5 fan sites for Tool on the internet. The rest is history. More recently I have found a strong niche in creating web applications to serve very specific tasks.
Software Development
- HTML
- CSS
- PHP
- MySQL
- AJAX
- Javascript
I actually had no intention in learning any type of software development outside of web applications. When some automation was needed at work, I decided to try any make my own application to handle it. After I succeeded, I couldn't stop. Since then, I have created several small utility apps and a couple commercial-grade applications you can find here on this website.
IT Administration
- Xcode & Interface Builder 3
- AppleScript
- AppleScript Studio
- AppleScriptObjC

After giving up on Microsoft as my personal OS of choice, I tried Linux. It was nice but didn't meet my needs. I bought a G3 iBook from a coworker and haven't looked back since. I still have plenty of knowledge of Windows XP and Vista, but my main area of expertise is focused on the real 'Big Apple'. I've had experience with everything from day-to-day work to monitoring and managing servers, workgroups with hundreds of users, and large scale software and hardware upgrades.
- Macintosh. My specialty. Troubleshooting, software/hardware diagnostics and repair, networking, etc.
- A long, dirty history with PC's (95, 98, XP, and Vista)
- A brief collision with the Linux. I experimented with Slackware 9, Mandrake, and most recently Ubuntu 7.10
